Founder
After over a decade of experience in the field of sports: from journalism, co-creating & managing a non-profit, and coaching soccer, I decided to create a company focused on making a positive impact on children ages two and over through a love of athletics and staying physically active
Coach Juan
Emeritus Director
Coach Juan helped create Sugar Maple Athletics and its vision. While he has moved on to other endeavors, his mission of providing an inclusive program for all children is still a core tenet of our philosophy. Coach Juan, is a dedicated educator who draws from his passions of music, philosophy, and athleticism.
Coach George
Manager of Coaching
Coach George, a native of Quito, Ecuador has been playing soccer since before he can remember, and brings that experience and enthusiasm in his role as manager of coaching. A fan of: pizza, movies, his dog Choko, and Manchester United, Coach George is excited to bring his passion for athletics to the kids he teaches, and the coaches he mentors.

Coach Larissa is a professional photographer from Brazil who manages to capture moments like no other. She loves coming to class with her Ukelele and singing sweet songs to our students.
